Giveway winners - and another one

A quick one's a good one..... I have used the random number generator to get the following winners:

11 24 29 9

So sbonetsue , alda, Sharon-NZ and Sylvia please send me your snail mail addies so I can send you a yummy package...

Back to finishing my 'Diametrically Deduced' quilt binding, and spend hours with the tweezers picking batting from the back where my needle became blunt and pushed it through the black backing fabric.... arrgghhh

one more thing you may be able to help me out with. I have almost finished a new product which involves printed designs on fabric made into brooches or badges which you can colour in on using my Colourque method for a bit of fun.... my question is - do you think 'brooches' or 'badges' sounds better, more fun, fresh, appealing??? Okay, I'll send two out to two lucky people who help me out on this one... I'd show you a pic but I don't have any here....they are all at the badge makers.

hugs, Helen

Go with Brooches Helen - sounds oh-so-vintage and chic!

Brooches if you are aiming for adults, badges for kids - although I am sure both names will work!

Brooches sounds better than a badge.. Brooch sounds tres chic, badge sounds like something you get in your cornflakes pkt! (well you used to when I was a young whippersnapper 30 years ago)

take care

I would go with brooches too - sounds much classier than badges. They sound like something you would buy for a fundraiser once a year!

I prefer brooch. I have just looked up the meaning of badge and brooch in the dictionary. A badge is a mark, token or device worn as a sign of allegiance, membership, authority, achievement. Whilst brooch is a clasp or ornament for the dress, having a pin at the back for passing through the clothing and a catch for securing the pin. Now doesn't this sound much more romantic than a badge.

I think brooches is better than badge, badge is something to wear at a conference etc whereas brooche is something to wear out or to work to dress up......

Brooches! But if you're still undecided why not coin a new name - just thinking out loud here - Bradges? No! Brooches it is!

Lets move away from both Brooch and Badge and try to come up with a new concept (or at least a new name for an old concept). How about "Pins" or "Clips", as you are going to wear them on your clothing as well as pin them onto bags and quilts as 3D accessories. How about incorporating them as part of a bag or quilt project in the future also. Good luck with the product, look forward to seeing them.
